Histoire complète :
The Monaco Department of Cultural Affairs is launching a photography contest for young people aged 11 to 25 on the theme of “Architectural Heritage of Monaco.” The aim of this initiative is to engage youth in the preservation of Monaco’s heritage and to showcase the artistic expression of young people in the Principality. The contest is part of the European Heritage Days program in 2025, which focuses on the theme of architectural heritage.
Participants are required to submit photographs that highlight Monaco’s architectural heritage, including overall views or detailed elements such as iconic buildings, residential structures, road and rail networks, open spaces, and panoramas. A jury of experts will select 15 photographs based on artistic merit and the original perspective they offer on the architectural heritage of the city. The selected photographs will be exhibited on the Saint-Martin Garden Gates from June 3 to October 5, 2025, coinciding with the European Heritage Days in Monaco.
A committee of young people aged 11 to 25 will award prizes to four photographs from the selection. The contest is open to young people of Monégasque nationality, who are residents, enrolled in schools in the Principality, or working in Monaco. The deadline for registration and submission of entries is April 25, 2025. More information and the registration form are available on culture.mc. For inquiries, contact infodac@gouv.mc.
