Monaco has reaffirmed its commitment to the ban on chemical weapons through the signing of two voluntary contribution agreements with the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) Director-General H.E. Fernando Arias. H.E. Frédéric Labarrère, Monaco’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the OPCW, signed these agreements during a ceremony held at The Hague in the Netherlands on December 2. By signing these agreements, Monaco strengthens its dedication to the principles outlined in the Chemical Weapons Convention. The new agreements serve as a testament to Monaco’s unwavering commitment to the global effort to eliminate chemical weapons.
