To conclude this year’s edition and continue the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Princess Grace Rose Garden, the Monégasque Government and the Friends of the Rose Garden Association organized a festive day in the heart of the garden. The day included an exclusive sale of roses to benefit the Princess Grace Foundation, a collective artwork creation with Mr. One Teas, an exhibition of watercolors by Tony Szabo, a treasure hunt, a guided tour of the Rose Garden by the Urban Development Department, and an awards ceremony accompanied by traditional Monégasque songs performed by the Cantin d’a Roca and jazz music by the Prince’s Carabiniers Orchestra.

Holding true to the importance of the event, H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco and H.R.H. the Princess of Hanover honored the occasion with their presence. During the event, Mr. Yves Piaget, President of the Friends of the Rose Garden Association, paid a heartfelt tribute to Princess Grace, whose inspiration led to the creation of the garden, and Prince Rainier III, who desired its establishment from the very beginning of the Fontvieille district’s planning.
