Legendary Captain Ouattara Leaves Monaco for Paris After 8 seasons with AS Monaco Basketball, the iconic captain of La Roca Team has decided to leave the team and join the newly promoted Paris Basketball. Known affectionately as Yak, Ouattara has been a consistently fair and generous player. Unfortunately, the current coach, Obradovic, has not utilized him effectively, often leaving him on the bench during crucial moments where he could have made a difference. It is understandable that after 8 years, at the age of 32, with 29 call-ups to the French national team and the title of French Champion in the 2023-2024 season, Ouattara has chosen to seek new challenges. In the upcoming season, La Roca Team will face him on the opposite side as he plays for the Paris team, which will be participating in the Euroleague championship for the first time, an achievement that Monaco has yet to attain.
