Résumé:
An exhibition called “Des Ateliers aux Ateliers” offers a carte blanche to Théo Casciani, an artist and writer, who explores the intersection of literature and visual arts through a program of public performances.

Histoire complète :
As part of the “Des Ateliers aux Ateliers” exhibition organized by the Directorate of Cultural Affairs, Théo Casciani, an artist and writer in residence, is given a carte blanche opportunity. Casciani’s work at the intersection of literature and visual and performing arts will be showcased in a dedicated workshop space within the exhibition. The artist has curated a series of public performances that examine the concept of the workshop as a place of life, dialogue, and experimentation.

The program includes a conversation on October 3, 2024, with Mathilde Roman, an art critic and professor at the Pavillon Bosio, discussing the idea of the workshop, the opportunity that the residency within the exhibition presents, and the associated programming. On October 10, 2024, there will be a projection of selected films by British artist and videographer Mark Leckey, accompanied by a remote conversation about the influence of spaces, environments, and atmospheres on creation.

In addition, on October 30, 2024, there will be a reading-concert in collaboration with producer and composer Pierre Rousseau, combining novel work and musical creation resulting from studio and workshop collaborations. Admission is free, but reservations are required. The exhibition will run until November 24, 2024, with free entry. The exhibition is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 1 pm to 7 pm, closed on Mondays and November 19. The exhibition takes place at the Salle d’Exposition du Quai Antoine Ier on the 1st floor in Monaco.
