A cultural evening was held at Dante Alighieri in Monaco focused on the theme of beauty, explored through art and music. Journalist Giuliana Poli opened the conference by discussing the beauty in Michelangelo’s Pietà at the Vatican, decoding the hidden aspects of this sublime work of art. The audience learned how the use of veils and mirrors represent the reflection of God’s beauty and how ugliness is the starting point for reaching the beauty of being. Music also played a role in exploring beauty as singer-songwriter Francesco Boccia took to the stage to perform his songs “TuruTuru” and “Grande amore.” Francesco shared his journey as a musician and his experiences with the songs he has written.
