The conference began with a welcome at the Yacht Club from the President of STEP Monaco, lawyer Maurizio Cohen, and Monaco Private Label’s Director, Chloe Boscagli-Leclerq. Over 250 participants from 30 countries attended the event, making it a significant gathering for professionals in the trust and succession industry in Europe. The conference featured discussions on topics such as digital assets and bequests, EU regulations, crypto asset markets, sports consulting for specialized clients, choosing tax residency for high net worth individuals, and structuring a family office. On the second day, the Minister of Finance and Economy, Pierre-André Chiappori, opened the conference, addressing topics including anti-money laundering, white-collar crimes, and recent developments. The winners of the civil law course at the International University of Monaco (IUM/STEP) were presented by Jean-Philippe Muller, the Director of the International University of Monaco, and lawyer Maurizio Cohen.
