Environmental photojournalist Aaron Gekoski has been named the ‘Environmental Photographer of the Year’ by the Fondation Prince Albert II (FPA2). Gekoski won two categories in the FPA2 Environmental Photography Awards competition with his photograph titled ‘See No Evil’. The image features an orangutan named Ning Nong, highlighting the exploitation of these animals by humans. The award recognizes Gekoski’s outstanding work in capturing the environmental challenges faced by wildlife. The competition, held on Tuesday, June 4, celebrated Gekoski’s powerful and thought-provoking photograph.
