Benjamin Ferrand, chef aboard the M/Y Victoria Del Mar – 50m yacht, emerged as the winner of the chef competition at the Yacht Club de Monaco. The event, organized by La Belle Classe Academy and Bluewater, featured nine chefs from superyachts ranging in size from 36 to 97 meters. Competing in temporary kitchens set up along the quay, the chefs showcased their talent in front of an expert jury and an enthusiastic audience. The competition emphasized precision cooking, refined textures, and seasoning, all within the constraints of limited time and space. The event aimed to highlight the excellence of these professionals and shed light on one of the more discrete professions in the yachting industry. Benjamin Ferrand’s victory was met with a standing ovation from his crew, as he impressed the judges with his gourmet dishes and creative use of flavors and textures.
