Résumé:
Pink Ribbon Monaco is organizing a solidary walk in February to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer screening.
Histoire complète :
Pink Ribbon Monaco, in partnership with the Monaco Athletics Federation, is organizing the annual Pink Ribbon Solidarity Walk for breast cancer prevention and awareness. The walk will take place on Sunday, February 9, 2025, starting at 10:15 am at the Port Hercule in Monaco. The 5km route passes by iconic landmarks such as the Palace, the Cathedral, the Oceanographic Museum, and the terraces of the Monte-Carlo Casino, and is open to everyone, including families with baby strollers, persons with reduced mobility, senior citizens, and even pets. The aim of the event is to raise visibility for this important cause rather than achieving record times. Participants can write messages of support or tribute to breast cancer victims instead of wearing race numbers. Registration is free for children under 13, while adults will need to pay 30 euros to participate in the walk. There will also be a tombola with tickets available for purchase (10€ for 5 tickets), and participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt courtesy of the event’s partner. All funds raised by Pink Ribbon Monaco will go towards a study on lobular breast cancer screening in Monaco. Join the Pink Ribbon Monaco Solidarity Walk by signing up on their website.
