The 5th edition of the I Fenuyëti football tournament in Monaco, organized by AS Monaco, was a great success. Held on the 22nd and 23rd of June at the Prince Héréditaire Jacques de Beausoleil Stadium, the tournament showcased the talent of young U12 players.
This year, the tournament featured a new format, with eight teams competing, including renowned clubs from the French league, as well as Cercle Bruges and Vitória Guimaraes from Portugal. After two days of intense matches, OGC Nice emerged victorious in the final against FC Girondins de Bordeaux.
The final rankings for 2024 are as follows:
1st: OGC Nice
2nd: FC Girondins de Bordeaux
3rd: FC Nantes
4th: Cercle Bruges
5th: FC Toulouse
6th: AS Monaco
7th: Vitória Guimaraes
8th: Olympique de Marseille
Prior to the tournament, the young players and coaches had the opportunity to visit AS Monaco’s Performance Center and the Oceanographic Museum. These visits, organized in partnership with the Oceanographic Institute, aimed to raise awareness about marine conservation and biodiversity among the participants.
Overall, the weekend was a wonderful celebration of football and friendship for the youth, marking another successful chapter for the I Fenuyëti tournament.
