The Olympic Torch Relay made its way through the French Riviera, from Villefranche-sur-Mer to Nice, passing through Monaco. The flame arrived in the Alpes-Maritimes for its 34th stage, after departing from Martinique the previous day. Over 150 athletes, local personalities, community members, and anonymous individuals carried the torch on a journey spanning more than 25 km. The torch made stops at seven iconic locations along the Côte d’Azur and in Monaco. As a symbol of the Paris 2024 Games, the Olympic torch relay celebrates unity and the spirit of sport.
