Histoire complète :
From June 11th to June 16th, Les Rencontres Philosophique (Philosophical Encounters of Monaco) will organize the “Semaine PhiloMonaco” (Philosophy Week in Monaco). During this event, various speakers including philosophers, researchers, psychiatrists and psychologists, writers, and teachers will engage in debates and discussions with the public on topics such as ecology, education, care, women, and well-being.
These conversations, philosophical lunches, roundtable discussions, and dialogues with the public will primarily take place at the Princesse Grace Theater, which will be transformed into the “House of Philosophy” during those days.
There will also be “philosophical mornings” led by Sandrine Negre, guiding discussions between participants and the public on daily topics at the market of la Condamine.
In collaboration with Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, the meetings will be held on Saturday, June 15th, on the terrace of Café de Paris and at the Hôtel Hermitage. On Sunday, June 16th, the Yacht Club will host the final event to conclude the week.
Other events include philosophical lunches in collaboration with the Médiathèque of Monaco and the Café of the Princesse Theater, the launch of the magazine “Les Jeunes philosophent” (Young People Philosophize) for school children, the “Filo philo” snack for children aged 7 to 10 years old, an award ceremony for a book, an honorable mention for a publishing house, and the “Prmeio dei Liceli” prize awarded to two high school students.
