The Association Dante Alighieri of Monaco presents “Mediterranea: Visions of an ancient and complex sea,” a captivating photographic exhibition that explores the history, beauty, and challenges of the Mediterranean Sea, a true “aquatic” continent.
The exhibition takes place at the Galerie des Pêcheurs in Monaco Ville and will be open to the public from February 7th to March 30th, 2025.
In collaboration with RAMOGE, ACCOBAMS, and PELAGOS, the exhibition offers a unique perspective on this extraordinary sea, highlighting its historical and cultural importance, as well as the dangers it faces.
“Mediterranea” takes visitors on a visual and narrative journey, recounting the ancient civilizations that inhabited its shores, the myths and legends that still surround it today, and its invaluable natural resources.
