Histoire complète :
The Government of Monaco is relaunching the Blue Fund initiative to support the economic development of the Principality by leveraging the opportunities offered by digital technology. This second phase aims to stimulate innovation and accelerate economic growth while addressing the new needs of local businesses.
The Blue Fund, launched at the end of 2020, is an initiative of the Department of Finance and Economy and the Interministerial Delegation for Digital Transition. It is part of the Extended Monaco program for Business. The program has been successful in supporting the digital transition of businesses in Monaco, ensuring business continuity during the challenges posed by the crisis.
Since its launch, over 700 companies have benefited from the program, representing a total of 52 million euros in projects, including 24.3 million euros in direct assistance. This first phase has also involved local Digital Service Companies (ESN), which have been responsible for more than 90% of the transformation projects, thus strengthening Monaco’s digital ecosystem.
Over 3,500 professionals have also received specialized training, contributing to the development of skills within companies and the overall dynamism of the economic fabric.
Phase 2 of the Blue Fund focuses on innovation and competitiveness. It aims to reinforce the digital transformation of businesses by deepening and diversifying the use of digital technologies, fostering innovation, and enabling companies in Monaco to enhance their competitiveness and growth in an increasingly digital environment.
The second strategic axis of Phase 2 is the launch of the Monaco Health Safety plan, in partnership with the Department of Social Affairs and Health. This plan aims to strengthen the security of health data, an important issue in the digital age. It represents a significant step forward in ensuring trust and protecting sensitive information while stimulating innovation in the healthcare sector.
With this new phase, the Blue Fund continues to support the digital transition of businesses in Monaco, while strengthening the economic competitiveness of the Principality in a constantly evolving digital environment.
