Résumé:
The No Finish Line Monaco invites participants to its 25th edition charity race, where every kilometer run is converted into a donation for underprivileged children.
Histoire complète :
The 25th edition of No Finish Line Monaco is set to take place from November 16th to 24th. Under the High Patronage of Prince Albert II, this charitable event encourages participants to cover as much distance as possible to support disadvantaged children. Registrations, donations, and sponsors contribute 1€ for every kilometer covered, with the funds going towards projects for underprivileged or sick children. Participants also have the option to donate 1€ for each kilometer they complete.
To ensure the smooth running of the event in Fontvieille, a few guidelines have been put in place. Walkers should stay on the right while runners use the left side, leaving a clear lane for passing. Cutting the circuit or walking across the entire width of the track is prohibited. Additionally, no vehicles are allowed to enter or park on the esplanade near the tent. During the “Nocturne” race, which takes place from 9 am on November 23rd to 9 am on November 24th, strollers and animals are not permitted on the circuit.
The 1140-meter circuit is open to registered participants and can only be accessed through the “Chapiteau” entrance on Avenue des Ligures. Barriers protect the entire route, except for this designated entry point. If someone crosses these barriers, their laps will not be accurately counted, and they may face penalties. The 25th race will commence on November 16th at 2 pm.
The previous edition in 2023 saw a participation of 10,428 individuals who covered a total distance of 315,561 km. Over a quarter of a million euros were donated, supporting around 20 projects for sick or disadvantaged children. To date, the No Finish Line Monaco has contributed nearly 5 million euros since its establishment.
Registrations for the eight-day event and pre-registrations are open on the Children & Future website. [http://childrenandfuture.com]
