The prestigious Prince Pierre Foundation awards were presented by H.S.H. the Princess of Hanover at the magnificent Opera Garnier theater in Monaco. The awards were given to the winners by the Princess and Charlotte Casiraghi, President of Le Rencontres Philosophiques. Among the presenters was the Princess’s daughter, Charlotte Casiraghi, who presented the Prize of the Principality jointly awarded by the Rencontres Philosophiques and the Prince Pierre Foundation.
The winners of the Prince Pierre Foundation awards were Mathieu Belezi for literature, Mokhtar Amoudi for his debut novel “Les conditions idéales” in the Bourse de la Découverte category, and Cécile Tlili for her debut novel “Un simple dîner” in the Coup de Cœur des Lycéens category.
For music, Hans Abrahamsen received the award for musical composition for his body of work, and Paul Novak received the Coup de Cœur des Jeunes Mélomanes for his opera “Prismi e specchi”.
In philosophy, the Prize of the Principality, jointly awarded by the Rencontres Philosophiques and the Prince Pierre Foundation, was presented to Souleymane Bachir Diagne for his body of work.
