For the first time in Monaco, the Italian Ambassador is a woman. Manuela Ruosi presented her credentials to Prince Albert II of Monaco on September 16th. With a diplomatic career that dates back to 1992 and a series of international assignments, Ruosi is focused on strengthening bilateral relationships between Italy and Monaco. She aims to highlight new areas of activity and promote the strong Italian presence in Monaco. The development of culture and collaboration in sports are also important goals for her. In terms of economic opportunities, she sees potential in real estate initiatives such as the development around the port of Ventimiglia. Monaco’s commitment to environmental issues presents an opportunity for Italy as well. Collaborations related to sustainability, climate change, scientific research, and marine protection are areas where Italy can contribute. Ruosi is currently working on presenting her programming ideas to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Italy.
