Résumé:
Descendants of Winston Churchill visited the Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo in Monaco for the unveiling of a portrait of the former British Prime Minister.

Histoire complète :
The Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo recently unveiled a new portrait of Winston Churchill. Descendants of Churchill, including his great-grandson Randolph and daughter Serena Churchill, traveled to Monaco for the occasion. The artwork, created by Monégasque artist Michel Aubery, now hangs in Winston Churchill’s former office, which has been transformed into a lounge with period photographs and memorabilia. Churchill stayed at Hôtel de Paris-Monte-Carlo after the end of World War II until 1963, contributing to the development of the Monaco Palace, Monte-Carlo Casino, and the Hôtel de Paris cellars. As a cognac enthusiast, Churchill reopened the Hôtel de Paris cellars in 1945 to enjoy some of the finest pre-war Cognac Grande Champagne, including a rare vintage called “Roi de Rome 1811.”
