Prince Albert II of Monaco has visited the construction site of the future Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace (CHPG), marking the completion of the first phase of the project. He raised the flag of Monaco on the rooftop of the building. The event was attended by Minister of State Didier Guillaume, as well as the ministers of urban planning, social affairs, and representatives from the Conseil National. The construction of the hospital, which consists of 22 floors, including 6 parking levels, is expected to be completed by 2032. The first part of the hospital will be operational by mid-2026 and will house the majority of departments. The flag-raising ceremony took place on October 1, 2020, after the inauguration of the road beneath the future CHPG.
