The Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) will host an annual opening conference focused on sustainability in the yachting industry. The conference aims to address current environmental challenges and present practical and accessible solutions that can be applied beyond the yachting sector. Gaëlle Tallarida, the General Manager of MYS, will open the conference by highlighting the operational actions implemented by MYS to support the transition towards sustainability at all levels. Topics to be discussed during the event include reducing the carbon footprint of previous generation yachts, improving sustainability through eco-friendly behavior on board, and exploring how superyacht innovations influence other markets. The conference will feature speakers such as Jean-Marc Bolinger, CEO of the MB92 Group, Rober van Tol, Executive Director of the Water Revolution Foundation, and Giedo Loeff, Head of Research and Development at Feadship. Throughout the conference, a series of roundtable discussions on innovation and sustainability will be co-organized with the Superyacht Times media.
