Monaco will see the opening of the new Charles III College for the start of the 2024-2025 school year. The entrance to the building is located on the plaza, an extension of Promenade Honoré II. Unlike the old facility, the plaza is not accessible to cars, meaning that access to the new college will primarily be via pedestrian routes, especially from Promenade Honoré II. This avenue is well-served by the CAM bus lines, with multiple stops such as Honoré II (next to Jardins d’Apolline) and Place d’Armes (accessible from the escalator at Place du Canton). The public bus lines will be supplemented by dedicated “school” lines for students, operating in the mornings, afternoons, and Wednesday afternoons. Pedestrians coming from Fontvieille can access the college by going through the shopping center to reach Promenade Honoré II, or through Place du Canton. Those coming from Jardin-Exotique and Boulevard de Belgique can use the elevator at Galerie des Salines and the new Wurtemberg footbridge. There are several Monabike rental stations near the new college, with the main station located on Promenade Honoré II (20 bike racks). Additional parking for bicycles and scooters is available at the back of the college, near the Millennium building.
