Monaco will serve as the starting point for the 21st and final stage of the 111th Tour de France on Sunday, July 21. As a result, certain roads will be closed to motorists from 10 am to 8 pm. The closed roads include boulevard Albert Ier, quai des États-Unis, route de la Piscine, darse Sud, quai Antoine Ier, allée des Boulingrins (uphill direction only), Place du Casino, avenue des Citronniers (up to the entrance of the Métropole parking), boulevard Princesse Charlotte (between boulevard des Moulins roundabout and n°29 in that direction), allée Emmanuel Gonzales, avenue Princesse Grace, rue des Iris, ruelle Saint-Jean, avenue J.F. Kennedy, boulevard Louis II, avenue de la Madone (between avenue des Spélugues and avenue de Grande-Bretagne intersection), avenue Saint-Michel (from the intersection with avenue Princesse Charlotte towards boulevard des Moulins), avenue de Monte-Carlo, boulevard des Moulins (between the roundabout in front of n°4 and the beginning of avenue de la Costa), bretelle du Portier (between the Larvotto tunnel and the Portier roundabout), rue du Portier, rue des Princes, avenue des Spélugues, and bretelle du Sardanapale.
There will also be traffic modifications on certain roads during specific time periods. For example, from 6 pm on July 20 to 10 am on July 21, the uphill lane of boulevard Albert Ier will be reserved for road users. There will be a one-way lane on the route de la Piscine, from its intersection with quai Antoine Ier to quai des États-Unis, and on quai des États-Unis, between the intersections with route de la Piscine and avenue J.F.
