Members of Monaco’s Scientific Council for Statistics and Economic Studies recently gathered at the Ministry of State under the leadership of their new president, Professor Pierre Dubois. During the session, Alexandre Bubbio, the director of IMSEE, discussed the institute’s work, including studying the housing needs in the Principality, the ESPAD 2024 survey, population census, and ongoing and future projects. The members shared their points of interest and made recommendations on actions to further improve Monaco’s statistical system. The 16th edition of the meeting concluded with the presence of Minister of State, Pierre Dartout, who paid tribute to the competence of former institute president Professor Pierre-André Chiappori, now the Minister of Finance and Economy. Minister Dartout also thanked all the members for their active participation and collaboration in producing important publications that guide the government’s actions and ensure Monaco’s harmonious and sustainable development.
