Full Story:
Ingeborg zu Schleswig-Holstein is showcasing her artworks at Moretti Fine Art Monaco in an exhibition titled “And There Was Light.” The exhibition, running until the end of the month, is part of the Monaco Art Week. Fabrizio Moretti and Julian Solms are presenting the dialogue between Ingeborg zu Schleswig-Holstein’s incandescent and chromatic abstract compositions, alongside classical masterpieces by Simone dei Crocifissi, Barnaba da Modena, and Arrigo di Niccolò. Although the exhibited works have nothing in common in terms of time, place, or practice, they share a common concern and a quest for understanding that which cannot be captured by words. Ingeborg zu Schleswig-Holstein celebrates the themes of creation and transcendence by juxtaposing her paintings with gold background panels such as Barnaba da Modena’s “Saint Catherine of Alexandria.” The explosion of colors on the canvas represents the light entering the darkness. The exhibition features a total of 48 artworks available for contemplation or purchase, with prices ranging from 4,000 to 30,000 euros. A portion of the proceeds from the exhibition will be donated to the AMADE association, dedicated to the protection of children.
