Trains will continue to run in Monaco for the upcoming Champions League match between AS Monaco and FC Barcelona, as construction work on the Nice-Ventimiglia railway link will be temporarily halted. The decision was made after a meeting between SNCF Réseau and other stakeholders, where the impact of the proposed construction plan on employee commutes and major sporting events was discussed. The meeting also resulted in the scheduling of another meeting to explore alternative construction scenarios.
