The AS Monaco Omnisports celebrated its centenary with a memorable evening attended by Prince Albert II. The event took place at the Auditorium Rainier III on Wednesday, November 13th. The ceremony began with the singers from the Rainier III Academy orchestra performing the national anthem of Monaco. All sections of the ASM paraded before President Roland Biancheri delivered a speech emphasizing the association’s role as a unifying force. He stated that the major goals of the centenary celebrations were to transmit the values of sports, defend national colors, and perpetuate the history of sports in Monaco. Prince Albert II made a surprise appearance to pay tribute to the iconic president, followed by a concert by a group of cellists performing Ave Maria. Later in the evening, Prince Albert II received the Special Legend Award, and athletes were recognized with insignias, challenges, and trophies. Olympian champion Cassandre Beaugrand and talented athlete Téo Andant were present for this moment of sharing accomplishments over a century.
