AS Monaco is set to host a day full of surprises for its supporters and amateur players in the region. The club is opening its doors to all licensed regional amateur football players and their +2 guests to attend the match against Strasbourg on Saturday, April 19. The event will include various activities, such as a Kids Tour with former player Frédéric Piquionne and a ceremonial kick-off by Romain Arneodo, the doubles winner at the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters.
As a show of support for amateur football, AS Monaco is offering tickets to the 30th round of the McDonald’s Ligue 1 match to all licensed players from the Mediterranean League, Côte d’Azur District, and neighboring Italian clubs. This initiative is part of the club’s ongoing effort to strengthen its ties with amateur structures in the surrounding area.
Leading up to the match, AS Monaco has planned numerous animations for over 2,500 young licensed players in the region. The Louis II forecourt will host the Kids Tour, featuring the exceptional presence of former striker Frédéric Piquionne. To top it all off, Romain Arneodo, the just-crowned doubles champion at the Monte-Carlo Masters, will kick off the match.
Taking advantage of the school holidays, the Monégasque club has extended its invitation to each football player or coach, allowing them to bring two guests of their choice. It’s an ideal opportunity to share the passion for football with family or friends at the prestigious Stade Louis-II.
Interested parties were required to contact the officials of their clubs promptly to register. The deadline for registration was set for Monday, April 14 at 12 pm. The match will kick off on Saturday, April 19 at 7 pm.
For those who missed the registration, the general public ticket sales are open, with tickets available starting at 10 euros in the Munegu Family stands. There is also the option to benefit from a Strasbourg – Lyon pack starting at 25 euros.
AS Monaco’s goal is clear: to fill the stands of the Stade Louis-II with passionate fans to create a festive atmosphere and support the Rouge & Blanc in this important championship match.
