Princess Stephanie presented four new recruits of the Prince’s Carabiniers with their badges. The ceremony took place at the Moneghetti Barracks helipad on June 21st. After the arrival of Lieutenant Colonel Martial Pied, the Corps Commander, the troops were inspected, and the company flag was presented. The recruits received their Corps badges, blessed by Reverend Christian Venard, the Chaplain of the Public Force. The ceremony concluded with the performance of the Monégasque Anthem by the Prince’s Carabiniers Orchestra and all the military personnel. The four passionate recruits will officially begin their duties on July 1st and will take their oath before Prince Albert II and his family on July 8th, 2024. The recruitment process for those interested in joining the Carabiniers is already underway. Applicants must be French or Monegasque nationals, between the ages of 19 and 27, unmarried, between 1.80m and 2m tall, have a clean criminal record, no visible tattoos, and hold a manual driving license. The recruitment competition will take place in September.
