Full Story:
To ensure safe navigation and protect the marine environment during the Formula 1 Grand Prix, the Directorate of Maritime Affairs (DAM) in Monaco will be implementing preventive actions. The DAM will monitor vessel traffic and anchoring in the Monegasque waters during the event. They have created a flyer to raise awareness among local boaters and large yachts anchored in Monaco, informing them about the maritime regulations in Monaco. The flyer is being distributed physically and electronically with the assistance of the Société d’Exploitation des Ports de Monaco and the Division de Police Maritime et Aéroportuaire. In addition to raising awareness, the DAM will enforce speed limits, no-navigation zones, and anchoring restrictions throughout the Grand Prix. They will also regulate traffic in the two ports and monitor water taxi permits.
