The 55th International Bouquets Competition in Monaco, held at the Yacht Club, showcased remarkable floral sculptures inspired by the theme of Seas and Oceans. The event, which was under the High Patronage of Prince Albert II, attracted 80 participants and featured extraordinary works of art. The judging panel, led by Princess of Hanover, had the task of selecting the winners. Cecilia Casiraghi, Vice-President of the Garden Club of Monaco, successfully curated the magnificent floral sculptures on the Riva terrace of the Yacht Club, creating a perfect blend of the sea’s vibrant hues with the floral arrangements. This annual competition continues to grow each year, attracting both professionals and flower enthusiasts. Children aged 6 to 14 years old were also given the opportunity to participate, showcasing their admired works. The Vice-President emphasized the importance of preserving the balance and precious beauty of oceans and seas, which is close to the hearts of Prince Albert II and Princess of Hanover. The exhibition is open to the public until Sunday afternoon, where visitors can enjoy an array of floral masterpieces crafted with various materials and techniques based on the theme of Seas and Oceans. Additionally, the Garden Club of Monaco will host a series of conferences on Sunday, which will cover topics such as Ikebana, orchid propagation, bonsai art, and floral composition. These conferences aim to educate and inspire attendees about the art of floral arrangement.
