The 7th Forum of Artists in Monaco, organized by the Cultural Affairs department of Monaco, is currently being held at the Auditorium Rainier III until November 14th. The exhibition showcases a rich collection of contemporary artworks by local artists, including paintings, sculptures, and photography. Notably, many of the artists are amateurs. The event was opened by Minister of Interior Lionel Beffre and the Director of Cultural Affairs, Françoise Gamerdinger. This initiative, initiated by the Prince’s government, aims to support and provide a public exhibition space for Monegasque and resident artists. Each year, new artists and techniques are discovered, adding to the diverse range of exhibited works. The winner of this year’s People’s Choice Award is artist Kako Micallef for her digital artwork titled “Femmes des mondes (planète Tokyo)”. The exhibition features various works, including delicate rubber orchids hand-painted by Marilyne Pierre, oil paintings of flowers by senior artist Emilia Cane, a captivating portrait by Rosaria Rezzola, and ocean-inspired art by Beli. The exhibition also includes a large mural composed of multiple paintings by Livia Ruspoli, and a painting by fashion designer Elizabet Wessel, known for her elegance. The exhibition is open daily from 13:00 to 19:00 at the Auditorium Rainier III, with free admission.
