Monaco and Burundi have signed a Framework Cooperation Agreement during the XIX Francophonie Summit. The agreement aims to deepen the friendship and cooperation between the two countries. As a long-standing partner of Monaco’s cooperation efforts, Burundi will benefit from Monaco’s support in areas such as health, education, child protection, food security, and access to decent work. In line with these development priorities, Madame Isabelle BERRO-AMADEÏ, Minister of External Relations and Cooperation, will visit Burundi at the end of this month to meet with Burundian authorities, cooperation partners, and the beneficiaries of cooperation projects. Monaco has been supporting Burundi since 2008, working collaboratively with international organizations and civil society actors to address the expressed needs of the government and its people.
