Pink Ribbon Monaco illuminates Monaco in pink to launch the “Pink October” campaign for breast cancer early diagnosis awareness.

Full Story:
The Pink Ribbon Monaco association will be illuminating the Principality of Monaco in pink on Friday, October 4th, to launch the “October Pink” campaign, raising awareness for early breast cancer detection. This initiative will see nearly 20 iconic landmarks, including the Prince’s Palace, the National Council, the Oceanographic Museum, and the Monte-Carlo Casino, illuminated in pink in support of this cause. The pink lights on the Casino Square will be switched on at 7:45 PM. In addition to the lighting event, Pink Ribbon Monaco is introducing an innovative initiative to engage and educate the Monegasque community. One of these initiatives, in collaboration with CFM Indosuez, includes a comprehensive digital brochure on breast self-examination, accessible through a QR code printed on locally crafted sweet boxes. These boxes, which can be customized with the logos of supporting companies, will be distributed to their partners. The brochure, available in French and English, aims to raise public awareness about the importance of regular self-examinations for early detection, providing essential resources for identifying the early signs of breast cancer.
