On September 17, 2024, Her Excellency Valérie Bruell-Melchior, Ambassador, presented her Letters of Credence to Mr. Emmanuel Macron, Co-Prince of the Principality of Andorra, at the Elysée Palace. The occasion marked her accreditation as the Ambassador of the Principality of Monaco to the Principality of Andorra, with her residence being in France.
In attendance were the Representative of the French Co-Prince, Mr. Patrick STRZODA, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Andorra, Ms. Imma TOR FAUS. Ambassador Valérie Bruell-Melchior assured Mr. Macron of her commitment to maintaining the strong ties between the two Principalities. These ties were recently reinforced by the opening of Monaco’s first Consulate in Andorra in September 2024.
The presentation of Ambassador Valérie Bruell-Melchior’s Letters of Credence to Archbishop VIVES I SICILIA, the Archbishop of Urgell and Episcopal Co-Prince of Andorra, will take place at a later date.
