Full Story:
The second edition of the prestigious award ceremony, The Honours, took place on the eve of the Monaco Yacht Show 2024. The event recognized three exceptional individuals who have made significant contributions within and outside the superyacht community. The winners of The Honours were Frédéric Jousset, an artistic philanthropist and creator of the floating art gallery ArtExplorer; Nick Entwisle, founder of Yachting Gives Back, dedicated to fighting hunger and poverty in Mallorca; and renowned explorer Mike Horn, leader of the Pangaea X project, which aims to educate young people about environmental challenges through the Young Explorers program. The Superyacht Life Foundation and the Monaco Yacht Show organized The Honours to showcase the remarkable achievements of these recipients. With nearly 300 candidates this year, a panel of experts selected the winners based on their exemplary work and leadership in various fields, highlighting the transformative influence within the superyacht community. Nominations for the 2025 edition of The Honours will open on December 2, 2024. For more information, interested individuals can contact d.sarac@thesuperyachtlife.com.
