The ambassadors for Bolivia, Diego Pary Rodriguez, and for Monaco, Isabelle Picco, have signed joint statements to formalize the diplomatic relations. Bolivia is a landlocked country in South America with a multicultural population. While Spanish is the official language, the Bolivian Constitution recognizes 36 official languages, with Quechua being the most widely spoken. During the signing ceremony, the ambassadors discussed the importance of culture and multilingualism in fostering mutual understanding and respect for differences. This comes at a significant time as the United Nations Future Summit is being negotiated.
