The 2nd Ocean Space Forum was organized by the Monaco Space Affairs Office in collaboration with the French National Center for Space Studies (CNES) and NewSpace Prométhée Earth Intelligence. The event took place at the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco and focused on the theme “Road to UNOC” in anticipation of the 3rd United Nations Conference on the Oceans (UNOC) in June 2025. Experts from various sectors in space and ocean exploration discussed topics such as marine ecosystem preservation, blue economy development, climate change and its impact on oceans, and marine resource conservation. In a video message, Prince Albert II addressed the participants and emphasized the valuable role of space data in promoting ocean health and sustainability. He also expressed his belief in the potential of space technologies to address the challenges of the upcoming UNOC conference. The next edition of the Ocean Space Forum is planned to coincide with the 2025 UN conference in Nice.
