The 56th edition of the International Bouquet Competition, organized by the Garden Club de Monaco, will take place on May 10-11, 2025, at the Yacht Club de Monaco. Under the patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II and the presidency of H.R.H. the Princess of Hanover, this edition’s theme is “Moving Flowers.” The competition is open to amateurs, professionals, decorators, and teachers, with various categories such as “Multicolored Fireworks,” “Rose Ball,” “Pastel Whirlwinds,” “Monochrome Volutes,” “Wind Gust in the Garden,” “Round of Flowers and Leaves,” and a special category for children aged 6-14 called “Flowers, Fruits, and Vegetables Parade.” The registration deadline is April 30, 2025, and the competition rules can be found on the Garden Club de Monaco’s website. The judging panel, consisting of literary and artistic personalities, will award the Special Prizes, while the Official Jury will determine the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards, as well as the General Grand Prize and the Princess Grace of Monaco Prize. The Garden Club de Monaco will also hold conferences and floral demonstrations open to the public at the Yacht Club de Monaco on May 11, 2025. The exhibitions will be open for public viewing on May 10 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM and on May 11 from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Additionally, a new event, the “Monaco in Flowers” storefront competition, will decorate the shops in the Principality from May 5-11, 2025.
